What Did The People?
Every fan of this game surely wants it to come back or just been leaked on the internet, but it´s not that easy. Some peoples even tryed to remake the game itself, but in my opinion these tries are really REALLY poor. I really hope there are some good 3d editors and programmers there could make it, would be so awesome right? Other peoples has also tryed to contact the LEGO company itself and they even got an answer from a worker on LEGO, her name was heidi. Here is the letter a guy called DoorStop1227 send the LEGO company.
"I would like to ask about a old, unreleased LEGO pc cdrom game called 'Bionicle Legend of Mata Nui'. I'd like to ask what happened. Why wasn't it released? I've been talking with a ton of fans, and we'd all be willing to pay the standard retail price ($60) if not more for that game. It seemed like the only game that was really going to capture the mood and meaning of the series. I've seen videos of the beta version... it really looked like a fantastic game. Everyone always asks 'where can I get this game' 'how did you get that footage' 'this game looks awesome where can I play it'. I'd like to ask if there's a remake of the game being planned? Even though Bionicle has been discontinued, it has been recorded as the best-selling LEGO series of all time. It's a bit late for a 10 year anniversary, but why not give a little fan service to us long-time fans? I've been into Bionicle since it began, now I'm 18, and it's still my favorite series of all time. I can't tell you how happy it would make us fans to see a game like that with the original Toa in it again, just being the story of the island of Mata Nui. Again, the game looked fantastic, it wouldn't be too hard to just use the same code and programming. I saw barely a problem in the beta version, just some unfinished textures. I strongly urge you to do this; I believe it would make everyone happy to see it around, and buy it.
-A Long Time, Dedicated Fan"
I strongly encourage you to do something of the same, if you are a fan like me. Please, tell your friends about this, spread this around, start a petition, let's get this game made!
LONG LIVE THE TOA!
And the answer he got
"Thank you for contacting us and for your comments about our LEGO® BIONICLE® products. We always love to hear from our loyal LEGO and Bionicle Fans like yourself!
Several years ago we began work on the Mata Nui PC game. Development of this game was not completed due to unforeseen difficulties. We decided at that time to discontinue any future attempts to complete the project.
We currently have no plans to complete the Mata Nui PC game. We also no longer have access to its originals content. I do apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
We very much appreciate the passion and commitment that our BIONICLE fans have shown throughout these many years. We are truly honored to know that fans like yourself are so connected with the theme that you would consider taking on the completion of this project. I am very sorry but we do not have the original game content and are therefore unable to release it to our fan community.
Again, thank you for letting us know that you are a BIONICLE fan!
